    AUT's Finance department is at the forefront of research addressing the industry’s pressing challenges. As a student, you benefit from the Finance department’s international acclaim to ensure the quality and impact of your research. You can collaborate with finance academics, and participate in research seminars and other activities. We partner closely with the Auckland Centre for Financial Research, providing access to the research network, resources and support for your research.

    You gain a comprehensive understanding of theory and research methodology, equipping you to conduct empirical research that addresses contemporary issues in finance. Explore a topic of interest in financial literacy and inclusion, behavioural finance, sustainable finance, corporate finance and governance, fund management, fintech, international finance, financial markets and institutions.
