    Kickstart your career as a professional advisor or manager with this one-year qualification, specialising in either Agribusiness, Business Analytics, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.

    Why study the Postgraduate Diploma in Management?

    The Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDipMgmt) is designed for those who want to gain advanced knowledge in a specialist field of management, along with general business acumen, without having to complete a full master’s degree.

    With this one-year qualification (120 points), you can select from endorsements in either Agribusiness, Business Analytics, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.

    The PGDipMgmt will prepare you to progress into management roles or transition into new areas of business with confidence.

    If you decide later that you'd prefer to complete the Master of Management instead, you can extend your studies with an additional 60 points of papers.

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    To be admitted to the Postgraduate Diploma in Management, you must have:

    1. A bachelor’s degree from the University of Waikato, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university; and you have completed study at an advanced level in the subject to be taken for the Postgraduate Diploma in Management; OR
    2. relevant training, experience and ability to proceed with the programme.
    3. satisfied the prerequisites for graduate study in the subject being taken for the Postgraduate Diploma.

    You meet the criteria for entry based on academic merit and relevant experience, subject to the completion of any qualifying papers prescribed by the Academic Board. This is considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Waikato Management School.
