The course enables learning support staff, such as teaching assistants and learning mentors, to:
- further develop their knowledge and skills
- gain a higher education level award
- proceed to further qualifications and training.

The Educational Practice (FdA) at Oxford Brookes University is a Foundation program designed for students who want to build the knowledge and skills required for careers in this field. Delivered on campus at the New College Swindon campus in Oxford, United Kingdom, the program is taught in English and takes 2 years to complete.
