    About

    Course overview

Lead the next generation of industry talent with Railway Systems Engineering and Integration at Birmingham. You'll consider the broader aspect of railway systems and learn how they interact on a global scale.

    Accredited programme

This degree programme is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council, as meeting the academic requirement for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng).

What I love the most about the course content and structure is the combination of technical concepts around signalling, power systems, telecommunications, etc., and professional practices like safety standards, operations management, and integration principles. Learning through site visits, guest lectures, and practical projects is also a great way to cement knowledge.
