About Senior Leader Apprenticeship with PG Diploma

The Senior Leader Apprenticeship aims to accelerate development for strategic leaders. It will expand knowledge and understanding of strategic business areas, and enhance organisational performance.

This Level 7 apprenticeship offers apprentices an in-depth personal and professional development programme designed to transform them into confident and informed business leaders. Apprentices will gain a broad knowledge of business management, covering topics such as organisational strategy, financial performance, managing operations and delivering customer value, with the option to progress from the Postgraduate Diploma to our MBA.

On successful completion of the programme, apprentices will be awarded an apprenticeship certificate from the IFA (at pass, merit or distinction) subject to their successful completion of the End Point Assessment (EPA). Additionally, apprentices may be eligible for Fellowship of the CMI or ILM.

In addition, apprentices have the opportunity to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (at pass, merit or distinction), derived from the first 2 stages of the University of Derby MBA Professional programme.

Entry Requirements

Students must have completed a subject relevant Bachelors degree with an overall score of 'Good' or above (2.25 GPA) from a recognised university in Jordan
For postgraduate research degrees, PhD applicants are expected to have a masters as well as a bachelors degree in the relevant subject areas. Most importantly applicants must submit a research proposal.

A personal statement showing your interest for the course/subject. This is a mandatory requirement and you will be able to upload it into your application. You may want to include your reasons for applying for the course, your experience in the field, how you feel you would benefit from studying and relevant information about your previous studies. You could also tell us about your non-academic experiences such as hobbies, interests, participation in any clubs, societies or voluntary work
A relevant reference for the course you have applied for. The reference should be in written format and supplied on company-headed paper, signed and dated from either a manager, supervisor, tutor or teacher
If you need to supply two references, this usually means you need to provide one academic reference from any recent study and one employer reference
