    About

    This course will enable you, as an experienced NMC Registered Nurse, to expand your knowledge, skills and proficiency in your role as a Community Specialist Practitioner, and to progress to independent scholarship.

    If you are an NMC Registered Nurse, this will enable you to:

    • Expand your knowledge, skills and proficiency in the role of the Community Specialist Practitioner
    • Work within a community/ primary care placement supported by a qualified mentor/ Practice Teacher
    • Study modules that directly enhance your clinical practice, management abilities and patient outcomes
    • Graduate with a greater understanding of a professional role so you can bring about integrated and high quality health and social care
    • Develop specialist assessment, leadership and management skills
    • Join with a first degree at 1:1 or 2:1 having 120 credits at degree level or equivalent academic credits or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

    Requirements

    Entry Requirements

    • Students must have completed a subject relevant Bachelors degree with an overall score of 'Good' or above (2.25 GPA) from a recognised university in Jordan
    • For postgraduate research degrees, PhD applicants are expected to have a masters as well as a bachelors degree in the relevant subject areas. Most importantly applicants must submit a research proposal.

    • Your work experience (optional). You can upload a CV into your application or provide the company names and addresses of up to three of your employers
    • A personal statement showing your interest for the course/subject. This is a mandatory requirement and you will be able to upload it into your application. You may want to include your reasons for applying for the course, your experience in the field, how you feel you would benefit from studying and relevant information about your previous studies. You could also tell us about your non-academic experiences such as hobbies, interests, participation in any clubs, societies or voluntary work
    • A relevant reference for the course you have applied for. The reference should be in written format and supplied on company-headed paper, signed and dated from either a manager, supervisor, tutor or teacher
    • If you need to supply two references, this usually means you need to provide one academic reference from any recent study and one employer reference
