    About

    Course overview

What motivates employees? How do you recruit the best applicants and how do you train them to succeed? How can you effectively manage a diverse workforce and promote inclusive practices?

Our Management Psychology MSc provides students with a strong understanding of how to use psychology in the workplace and the tools needed to effectively manage people. It is ideal for those who have not studied psychology before and does not presume any prior knowledge of research methods.

Students will analyse the main areas of management psychology: learning, training and development; leadership engagement and motivation; organisational development and change; psychological assessment at work; work design and wellbeing at work; strategic human resource management and managing diversity.

The course also has a strong practical focus and it aims to improve their skills as a practitioner. That's why you'll also learn about consultancy as part of your studies. Students also get a good grasp on research methods applicable to the workplace, something that is particularly valuable to future employers.

An advanced degree from Nottingham will see students graduate with the knowledge needed to take the next step in their career.
