The bachelor of science degree program in engineering technology extends beyond the scope of the associate degree program to include additional emphasis on the theory, development, and application in the areas of electronics, computers, and mechanical systems. Students may continue their studies in computer systems technology beyond the associate degree level to obtain the bachelor of science degree. The baccalaureate degree typically requires two years of study beyond the associate degree.
