    Entry Requirements

    International freshmen applicants are currently attending or graduated from high school but have not attended college (summer following high school graduation excluded).

    International Freshmen Criteria

    Admission to Auburn University is competitive. More students apply to Auburn each year than we can admit, and many have strong academic credentials. 

    Documents Needed 

    Traditional Applicant:

    A completed application includes an admissions application and an application fee; an official evaluated high school transcript, official ACT/SAT scores, official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores, affidavit financial support, and supporting bank letter. 

    Test-Optional Applicant:

    A completed application includes an admissions application and an application fee; an official evaluated high school transcript, official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE scores, affidavit financial support, and supporting bank letter.

    Standardized Test Requirements

    The ACT or the SAT is required of all international freshmen applicants. Official test scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency.

    When you are ready to apply, your application can be submitted online at auburn.edu/admissions or through the Common Application. There is no preference given to either application. We encourage you to submit the application you start. Filling out both applications may delay your file review process.
