Students desiring a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences must formally apply for admission to the program after successful completion of SLHS 3000, SLHS 3400 and SLHS 4600 with a grade of B or better.

Students must apply for admission by March 15 to begin the major in summer semester, June 15 to begin in the fall semester, and October 15 to begin in the spring semester. Applications may be submitted at any time prior to the deadlines and students may apply during the semester they are taking the last of the required coursework. Students must earn a C or higher in each additional major course. SLHS courses with grades below C must be repeated to count in major which may cause graduation to be delayed.
