The Augusta University College of Science and Math is excited to offer this new 2-year, 36 credit hour, Master of Science degree in Biological and Computational Mathematics. The program includes a strong experiential component in the form of seminars as well as a graduate project course where students have the opportunity to conduct original research in applied mathematics. The expertise of the faculty includes many applications in the biomedical fields. Graduates of the program will be well-equipped to use a variety of methods to construct mathematical models in order to solve real-world problems, especially those problems of an interdisciplinary nature. The nature and breadth of the curriculum allows students to enter jobs in industry or to enter Ph.D. programs in Applied Mathematics.

Applicants from foreign colleges and universities must use an approved transcript evaluation service. Augusta University accepts official course-by-course transcript evaluations from the following evaluation services listed below. Course-by-course transcript evaluations may also be accepted from a current National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, or NACES, member on a case-by-case basis. Only in the case of transcripts from international colleges/universities will an official course-by-course transcript evaluation based on official transcripts and documents be accepted in lieu of an official transcript. Official transcript evaluations based on unofficial transcripts, documents or copies will not fulfill this requirement.
