The PhD program in Applied Health Sciences (AHS) is an interdisciplinary program to provide advanced study and research training opportunities for Allied Health professionals. The program is offered in three tracks: Healthcare Outcomes Science, Rehabilitation Science, and Diagnostics Science. Our program combines advanced health care education with excellence in research, teaching students research skills required for (innovative) healthcare problem solving. Graduates of this collaborative program will be research-focused and clinically oriented, able to work on health care teams in evidence-based practice or as allied health faculty.

Applicants from foreign colleges and universities must use an approved transcript evaluation service. Augusta University accepts official course-by-course transcript evaluations from the following evaluation services listed below. Course-by-course transcript evaluations may also be accepted from a current National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, or NACES, member on a case-by-case basis. Only in the case of transcripts from international colleges/universities will an official course-by-course transcript evaluation based on official transcripts and documents be accepted in lieu of an official transcript. Official transcript evaluations based on unofficial transcripts, documents or copies will not fulfill this requirement.
