Overview In addition to the academic requirements, students at Boston University are required to complete fieldwork observations in art classes in area schools. At the end of the program, students are eligible to obtain two initial visual arts teaching licenses from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education—one for secondary and one for primary.
