Certificate in Global Population Health Overview

A certificate in global population health at Lehigh will prepare students with the background to be leaders in the field. The certificate program is open to all graduate students and non-degree students admitted to the College of Health. Students in this program should have an interest in studying health disparities and risk factors affecting local and global populations.

Students in the program gain skills in evaluating global health programs and learn to design evidence-based interventions. In preparation to thrive in the field, students also learn to analyze cultural differences and social inequalities, and work with diverse groups. The certificate program emphasizes target ethics of global health research and interventions while preparing students for an array of career paths.

Students must complete 12 credits, including core graduate-level courses and an elective. Courses taken through the certificate program may be applied to the MS in population health or MPH.
