Lehigh University's Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology gives students the tools to incorporate a diverse range of technology in learning and instruction, whether they are working in K-12 schools, higher education, or the business world. Master's candidates learn how to integrate instructional technology more effectively in a variety of contexts, such as in classrooms, corporations, and non-profits, as well as how to effectively design, implement, and evaluate their technological integrations. The degree requires the completion of 10 courses (30 credits) offered in person, online, and in hybrid options, including summer institutes that are intensive eight-day courses. Typically, it takes one to three years to finish, depending on whether students are full-time or part-time.

Requirements and Admission Criteria for Master of Instructional Technology at Lehigh University

Entry Requirements

International applicants must hold an American bachelor’s degree or an equivalent foreign degree requiring at least 16 years of primary, secondary, and university education. International applicants applying for regular graduate student status must submit all documents required for that status.

University admissions criteria for non-degree graduate students are:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an overall grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants with undergraduate GPAs below 3.0 may be admitted with the approval of the department in which they wish to take courses

Evidence that the applicant is presently a student in good standing in an appropriate graduate program at an accredited institution

Evidence that the applicant has received an appropriate graduate or other advanced degree from an accredited institution.
