Overview The Religious Studies program of the Department of Theology at Loyola University Chicago is designed to provide students with resources for the analysis of religion; for investigation of the sources, historical development and contemporary practice of particular religious traditions; and for critical appropriation of personal faith and sympathetic appreciation of the beliefs of others.
