About Bachelor of Latin

Students achieve advanced reading proficiency in Latin, the language of the ancient Romans, foundational to the development, and our understanding, of western culture. In addition to courses in the Latin language, students take a series of elective courses in Latin Literature and Roman History, and complement their study of Latin by taking one year of Ancient Greek.

120 credits of coursework is required for the baccalaureate degree with a minimum 2.0 overall GPA, and a minimum 2.0 major GPA.

Please note that Dance, Musical Theatre, and Theatre majors require two recommendation letters. One of your recommendation letters should speak to your candidacy for your field of study.
