About Bachelor of Spanish - Translation Concentration

The concentration in translation is designed to enhance the preparation of Spanish majors who are considering careers in diplomatic service, business, social service, medicine or law or who have an interest in literary translation.

120 credits of coursework is required for the baccalaureate degree with a minimum 2.0 overall GPA, and a minimum 2.0 major GPA.

Letter of Recommendation

For most majors, a recommendation letter is not required but is strongly encouraged. Submit recommendation letter from a college counselor or teacher.

Please note that Dance, Musical Theatre, and Theatre majors require two recommendation letters. One of your recommendation letters should speak to your candidacy for your field of study.
