The Department of Entomology offers an undergraduate minor in Entomology intended for students who are interested in insects and their diversity, ecology, behavior, management, and their role in the functioning of natural and agricultural ecosystems. Insects represent the single largest group of animal species – they impact every facet of human life and they are a very important part of our environment. This minor provides an opportunity for students to become familiar with this fascinating group of organisms.
Advising
The Undergraduate minor program in Entomology is coordinated by David Orr, the Entomology Undergraduate Teaching Coordinator, who acts as the minor advisor or assigns a minor advisor appropriate to the interests of the student.
Applications
Application for admission to any University minor program is now available via MyPack Portal.
Admission will be based upon the student's academic record, and in most cases no longer requires departmental review. Go to Add a Minor to apply.
