Program is designed for teachers with a strong interest in teacher leadership and mathematics and at least three years of successful teaching.
Program has a strong emphasis on studying K-8 mathematics to improve mathematical understanding and making connections within and across grade levels.
Program affords learner–centric "doing" and teaching of mathematics to develop pedagogical and andragogical approaches for facilitating learning.
Program develops teacher leaders who value diverse learners and support their ways of knowing by using equitable approaches that utilize the mathematics process and practice standards to reach ALL learners.
