About Master of Theatre

The MFA degree in Design, Art, and Performance has seven Theatre majors/concentrations: Theatre/Acting, Theatre/Audio Technology, Theatre/Costume Design, Theatre/Lighting Design, Theatre/Scenic Design, Theatre/Sound Design, Theatre/Technical Direction.

MFA applicants will be expected to hold a baccalaureate degree from a college or university of recognized standing prior to registration as a graduate student. MFA applicants should have achieved a 3.0 grade point index or higher for the baccalaureate degree or have other academic indices indicating superior performance.

For nondegree applicants:

Provide evidence of a bachelor’s degree (may be a transcript, copy of a diploma or a letter from your college/university verifying the degree).
