For general university requirements, see Graduation Requirements. Students pursuing BA degree with a major in Astronomy must complete:

• A minimum of 53 credit hours to satisfy major requirements.
• A minimum of 520 credit hours to satisfy degree requirements.
• A minimum of 59 credit hours taken at 300-level or above.

courses listed below satisfy this major. In certain instances, courses not on this official list may be substituted upon approval of department's undergraduate committee. (Course substitutions must be formally applied and entered into Degree Works by major's Official Certifier.) Students and their academic advisors should identify and clearly document courses to be taken.

Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate English proficiency in one of two ways:

1. Completing at least two years of full-time study in an English language curriculum prior to submitting an application.

2. Submitting one of the following official test scores.
