There is an increased need for employees who can use programs, data, and computational tools to explore and discover relevant insights in big data as well as apply critical thinking skills to data analysis for purposes of improving organizational efficiency and solving business problems. As such, this Certificate of Graduate Study (COGS) is designed for individuals who have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher learning and are looking to expand their knowledge and opportunities in the area of data analytics.

The COGS in Data Analytics is also ideal for those who have not yet taken the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) as GMAT scores are not a requirement for admission to the COGS program. Students who wish to later pursue the MBA program at Rowan may have all COGS credits transferred into one of these degree programs.

College Transcript and Copy of Original Degree – If you have completed more than one degree, all academic credentials should be submitted. Additionally, if your document is not translated to English a certified English translation is required.
Standardized English language test score – a TOEFL minimum score of 70, IELTS minimum score of 6.0, PTE minimum score of 50 or Duolingo test minimum score of 120 for traditional admissions.

Recommendations – a minimum of 2 are required for Master’s programs, and a minimum of 3 are required for Doctoral (Ph.D.) programs.
Statement of professional objectives – Provide reasons for pursuing the program applied. Describe how you will use this program to reach your career goes, and educational goals beyond the master’s level if applicable. Students should also identify personal qualities that they want the committee to see in them, such as leadership, concerns for others, talent, etc.
You can upload the required documents to your application portal once you submit your application. Additional items may be required depending on the program applied.
