Saint Louis University's accelerated B.A. in criminology and criminal justice to J.D. program allows qualified undergraduate students to apply to SLU Law School in their third year. If admitted, students begin the L1 curriculum in their fourth year at SLU.

Up to 30 credits of law school credit taken in the fourth year will count toward the bachelor's degree, allowing students to earn their B.A. after successfully completing their first year of law school with the potential to earn both a J.D. and B.A. in six years.

The first year of law school coursework will count toward 21 general elective credits and nine criminology and criminal justice credits. Students in this program must take CCJ 4050 Criminal Law & Procedure or its equivalent as part of their B.A. in criminology and criminal justice program before beginning law school.

You’ll use your SLU ID card to access student services and campus buildings such as the library. Make sure to bring a photo ID, along with a copy of your class schedule.
