We provide opportunities to study abroad to strengthen students’ language literacy and prepare them for professional careers at home and abroad. Since many of our students further pursue education in a variety of disciplines from MBA, law, to Slavic Studies, our major prepares them to develop critical and analytical skills and to articulate their arguments eloquently in spoken and written forms. In keeping with SDSU College of Arts and Letters’ mission, the vision for Russian program calls for our students to become culturally sensitive, socially engaged, and globally informed citizens.
