Over the past five years, 100% of STAC’s Spanish/secondary education majors landed teaching jobs within months of graduation. (There are also grants and loan-forgiveness programs for students who major in Spanish.) But Spanish majors have a host of other career possibilities, including those in law enforcement, health services, immigration and naturalization, tourism, journalism, and the armed forces, to name just a few.More and more businesses work closely with companies in other countries. Corporations need workers who can communicate in different languages and understand other cultures. No matter what career you choose, if you've learned a second language, you'll have a real advantage.
