The Nursing Rural Telehealth (Certificate NDP) is a Graduate Certificate degree offered by The University of Arizona Global on the Arizona Global Direct - Online University of Arizona - Main - Tucson Arizona Online - Online campus in United States of America. The program is delivered hybrid as a Full Time course in English and requires approximately 2 years to complete. Students study at the Arizona Global Direct - Online University of Arizona - Main - Tucson Arizona Online - Online campus while gaining the knowledge and practical experience expected for this area of study. The next intake is available from August 22, 2027.
The RTCP is designed to educate the next generation of rural health advanced practice nurses to provide telehealth services in rural, medically underserved areas, and to serve as leaders in improving quality and access to care for these patients. Telehealth is “the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long-distance clinical health care, patient and professional health-related education, public health and health administration “(HRSA).

This program is open to current RN's as well as CON students enrolled in the DNP program.
We do not require any standardized tests for admission to the certificate program.
Certificate students do not qualify for federal financial aid.
Students are admitted to the certificate program once per year for an January start. Applications open in August with deadlines in October. Applicants are encouraged to review the information and updated deadlines on the College of Nursing website prior to submitting an application.
