About Business Administration (MBA) - Online

The OMBA is a very flexible program designed for working professionals, delivered 100 percent online. It can be completed in as little as 14 months or you can take up to 6 years, depending on your schedule. You decide how many courses you take at a time. Most students complete the program in 20-24 months.

The program requires the completion of 45 units/credits to earn your MBA. It is made up of 14 core courses (required) that are 2 units each, for 28 units, and 17 units of electives. Courses are offered in a carousel format that repeats every 14 months. There are two sessions each semester. During a typical session 2 core courses and a minimum of 2 electives are offered. Sessions begin 6 times a year or every 8 weeks, so there are many times per year when you can begin the program.

Admissions Requirements

A minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience is required, though three or more is preferred. In addition to a 3.0 GPA, a score of 550 or better on the GMAT is required for admission. Complete the GradApp application and upload your resume, transcripts from all universities and colleges attended, GMAT score, three (3) professional letters of recommendation and an essay for consideration of admission.

Admissions Deadlines

Applications for sessions are accepted on a rolling basis. Sessions begin every 8 weeks. Please be sure to have your application submitted at least one month prior to the start date of your preferred session. There are two sessions each during fall, spring and summer semesters.

International applicants to Arizona Online campus, Global Direct campus, or a Global Microcampus should choose the Distance Learner (DL) visa type in their Application Profile.
