Created to provide students with training in advanced nutritional sciences as well as professional skill development through the completion of PLUS courses, the Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition will prepare graduates to successfully compete for jobs in the nutrition workforce. The Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition program is responsive to the challenges faced by today's nutrition professionals and provides a path to advancement outside of the traditional, research-intensive M.S. degree.

Tuition for those accepted into the program is $650 per unit for both residents and non-residents. Do not use the Bursars Tuition Table.

Professional Science Masters in Applied Nutrition program applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

BS or BA in Nutrition from an accredited institution.
If an undergraduate degree is in a field other than nutrition, coursework in physiology, biochemistry, and a 400 (senior) level course in nutrition and disease is required.
Minimum 3.0 GPA overall in an undergraduate degree
Additionally, because the program is delivered exclusively online, the following student characteristics are essential to successfully completing the program:

- Able to utilize a wide range of resources effectively
