    About Bachelor of Enterprise Leadership

    Enterprise leadership is an interdisciplinary major that focuses on developing entrepreneurial management, leadership, and communication skills.

    The major promotes problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and innovation through understanding how to strategically address complex issues to meet consumer and organizational needs. Students learn how to effectively communicate, build and lead diverse teams, and understand how social and cultural issues impact organizational effectiveness.

    The major in enterprise leadership is offered jointly by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the John Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurial Management in the Tippie College of Business. The program is administered by the John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Management Center and the degree is awarded by the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

    Students may earn the major in enterprise leadership or the certificate in entrepreneurial management, but not both.
