    Students who pursue the Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management develop a solid foundation in entrepreneurial management, professional leadership, and communication skills that prepare them for a variety of career opportunities or to start their own business.     As an entrepreneurial management student, you'll learn from a team of faculty members and business leaders. You will study the entrepreneurial approach to acquiring and managing resources; develop team-building skills; participate in experiential learning opportunities; and network with successful entrepreneurs and business leaders.

    This certificate program is open to current University of Iowa undergraduate students and to individuals who have earned a bachelor's degree and are not enrolled in a UI graduate or professional degree program, except for students earning the BBA in management (entrepreneurship management track) or the BA in enterprise leadership.

    1. Submit your application.

      You can apply through the University of Iowa application or the Common Application (fall session only). We make admission decisions on a rolling basis beginning October 1 (International Application deadlines vary depending on your area of study).

    2. Pay the application fee.

      The $80 application fee is non-refundable. No application fee waivers are available unless you will be graduating from a high school inside the U.S.

    3. Upload your academic records.

      Within your Admissions Profile in MyUI, upload copies of all required official transcripts from every secondary school (high school), college, university, technical/vocational institute, or professional institution you have attended.

    4. Meet our English Proficiency Requirement.

    5. Have your ACT or SAT scores sent by the testing agency.
