The construction industry provides an environment where CSM graduates thrive and achieve success through communication, collaboration and leadership.The Department of Construction Science maintains a close partnership with the construction industry through its Construction Industry Advisory Council (CIAC). In addition to providing a significant number of scholarships, sponsoring service projects, mentorship, speaking in classes, and offering part-time and full-time employment, the CIAC also sponsors a variety of social events: mixers, tailgating, cook-off, sports, competitions, and field trips, among others. CSM Student organizations are very active and have significant industry support.The UTSA four-year B.S. in CSM degree is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE).What You’ll LearnGraduates of the Construction Science and Management program of The University of Texas at San Antonio coordinate and supervise a wide variety of projects, safely completing them on time, within budget, and meeting industry standards.
