Each EdS student completes an additional 400-hour practicum and 1,200-hour internship. Pathway to licensure. Because the UToledo program is NASP-approved, EdS graduates scoring above a certain level on the Praxis[Symbol] II test are automatically eligible to apply to be a nationally certified school psychologist in Ohio. For more than 14 years, every student who completes UToledo's school psychology Ed.S. program has found a job after graduation. Graduate assistantships. A limited number of graduate assistantships are available within UToledo’s School of Intervention and Wellness. School psychology students also have secured graduate assistantships on campus in the Counseling Center, TRIO program and Office of Residence Life. Accredited. UToledo's school psychology program is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation and approved by the National Association of School Psychologists.
