About the Program
The groundbreaking MS in Fashion Design Technology program is developed to create the next generation of fashion professionals for a complex global fashion system. Students are invited to create their own path, and customize the experience to focus on different tracks with global opportunities right at their fingertips.
- By moving beyond the hand-crafted approach to understanding the science and management of fashion, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and technology, students will have the opportunity to focus on design as a strategic function, integrated along the cycle of research and design, product development, branding and distribution.
- By participating in science, technology, and 3D design discussions, students can open doors to new and exciting career paths as fashion engineers or garment technologists.
This degree also offers hybrid flexibility. During the final semester, participants create a project that demonstrates topic mastery through synthesis of knowledge and skills inspired from their previous coursework.

MS in Fashion Design Technology Program Now STEM Eligible
STEM eligibility allows international students on an F-1 student status to apply for an additional two years of work authorization after an initial 12-month period of Post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States if they meet the required criteria.
