The Minor in Business Law is housed in the Department of Marketing.
The Minor in Business Law in the College of Business and Economics prepares its students with the knowledge and skills they need for a productive business career or successful legal study. In an increasingly complex business world and regulatory environment, businesses and consumers need more than a passing acquaintance with the law and legal issues. Business law students study law from a business perspective to help them appreciate how legal issues affect business decision making. In addition, the business law minor contributes to students' critical thinking, communication and leadership skills development.
