The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department offers students a high level education that is centered around the opportunity to perform diverse, cutting edge, interdisciplinary research under the close mentorship of our faculty members.

We offer both a thesis and non-thesis option for obtaining a master's degree. The Ph.D. degree requires a student to reach a critical understanding of the basic scientific and engineering principles underlying their field of interest. A 4+1 Master's Program option is available to Tulane undergraduates.
