Translation & Translation Studies is an interdisciplinary, cross-college certificate that draws from curricular offerings in various departments such as English, Romance & Arabic Languages & Literatures (RALL), German, Asian, and Judaic Studies. Some classes are also be dual-numbered in order to allow upper-level undergraduate students to enroll. Rather than being targeted at specific languages, the curriculum will allow students from various programs and linguistic backgrounds to share ideas and discuss translation issues. This certificate is a professionalizing complement to existing Master's and doctoral programs.
