The Master of Science in Health and Wellness Management program at the University of Cincinnati provides graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to advance in various health wellness careers upon graduation. The program offers a robust core along with a wide range of interdisciplinary elective options, designed to allow each student to select classes that meet their personal and professional goals in health promotion and wellness career opportunities.
Our online health and wellness master's degree focuses on integrating leadership and innovation concepts, health and wellness research, and coaching skills to prepare students for a role in directing wellness programs, coaching in an individual or group setting, and more.
This degree will prepare students to pursue the Certified Wellness Practitioner (CWP) credential through the National Wellness Institute (NWI) and is currently under review to become eligible training program for the National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) credential. Competencies for both of these credentials are met within the coursework for this program.
Admitted students can complete the program in one year if the student is enrolled full-time. Part-time options are also available.
