Not ready to choose a major? Want to explore many options before having to choose just one? The University Studies Program will provide you with an academic home until you are ready to declare your major. The program is designed to enhance and support the educational experiences of students who have a wide variety of interests and have either not yet declared a major or are in transition from one major to another. You may choose to enter the program to explore many majors within one or more interest areas, to examine one or two majors in depth before committing or to enhance your skills before applying to a specific major. Through classroom interaction, individual academic advising, and specially tailored programming, the University Studies Program ensures that you can explore the many majors available to you before you choose your academic path. Typically, 20% of the incoming freshman class enters UD as UST students.
