Management involves the perspective, skills, and knowledge necessary to lead modern organizations more effectively while simultaneously addressing a wide variety of organizational problems: financial, material, human, legal, political, and environmental.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management from UGA emphasizes working with and through groups toward common mission, goals, and objectives; written and oral communication skills; and creative problem-solving in an increasingly complex and global business environment. Courses in operations management, organizational behavior, ethics, human resources, leadership, and strategic management build core competencies required by managers for the twenty-first century. Student can pursue an area of emphasis in Management with Operations and Supply Chain or Human Resources Analytics Management.
