The Real Estate program at the University of Georgia is recognized as one of the finest in the nation. It has long been ranked in the top five of the U.S. News and World Report annual rankings – no other real estate program in the Southeast ranks as high.
The curriculum includes courses in valuation, investment, development, law, finance, economics, and others to prepare students for the site selection, lease or purchase acquisition, management, and disposition of real property. (Refer to the Pre-Business major for information on applying.) Students may obtain additional practical experience through an internship.
Career opportunities are available in real estate sales, leasing, appraising, management, lease negotiation, financial analysis, or as right-of-way agents for real estate project development.
