    About

Offered with support from the Willson Center for Humanities and the UGA Libraries, the certificate program in Digital Humanities is designed for undergraduates who want to explore the intersection of humanities and STEM disciplines. DIGI classes are meant to combine the humanist skills of deep cultural, textual, and historic study with analytical methods and digital tools. Students will benefit from the application of subject-specific knowledge to collaborative, hands-on projects and classes.

The DIGI Undergraduate certificate offers a wide selection of interdisciplinary courses designed to introduce Digital Humanities methods to undergraduate research. Students receive hands-on experience in creating their own digital projects that combine their deep humanities knowledge with technical skill. Courses rotate each semester.

    How to Apply

UGA supports two different application platforms for First-Year applications. Students should only submit one of these applications. We do not prefer any particular application platform, so please select the option that works best for you and your school counselor. While we are still members of the Coalition for College, we will not be accepting applications on that platform for students applying for Fall 2023.
