The Honors College > Creative Work Minor
This is an academic, interdisciplinary minor that examines the important role of creativity across all disciplines and professions. The aim of the minor is to inspire innovative practices, thinking, and research, and to enrich students' personal growth and learning, by encountering the familiar through creative perspectives and experiences. The minor is open to all UH students regardless of major.
The curriculum explores the practices associated with the creative process and its many modalities of expression and implementation, including the arts and literature, and the ways these can complement, inform, and reshape practices associated with business, politics, law, medicine, science, family, religion, and other social and cultural institutions. It also includes co-curricular partnerships with community organizations, as well as with other colleges and departments across the university.
