This major is the academic home for students who are interested in a health profession, and exploring options in health care. Students are advised by a professional advisor in the School of Health Professions, and will be able to take exploratory courses such as Health Science 1000, Introduction to Health Professions, as well as general education courses including the foundational science courses required for many health professions. Advisors in the School of Health Professions will also work with students to develop a plan to explore outside of taking courses, such as shadowing or using other campus resources to determine a good fit for a career in health professions.
