    The Public Foundations Graduate Certificate consists of 4 courses (12 credits) that provide foundational knowledge for working public health professionals who lack academic public health training or individuals interested in pursuing a career in public health. This graduate certificate is available to people who already have a bachelor's or master's degree and wish to add public health foundational competencies to their body of knowledge.

    Students who wish to advance to the on-campus Master of Public Health (MPH) degree may apply 12 certificate credits toward the MPH in Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Health, or Health Administration and Policy upon application and admission to the program. 

    Note: Students who are enrolled in this certificate program solely are not eligible for Federal Financial Aid.
