Foundation in Ideas & Persuasion
You'll start with foundational courses in American government, political science methods, international relations, and comparative politics that introduce major ideas, issues, and systems. From there, you'll select courses in political theory, public administration, and public policy.
Upper-level electives dive deeper into American political behavior and institutions, international relations, and comparative politics. You might also choose additional coursework to study American constitutional law, national security, race and politics, or political systems from regions around the world.
Throughout, you'll learn to evaluate competing ideas, build arguments based on evidence, and express yourself in ways that move people to action.
