The minor in ethics gives students tools for critically reflecting on moral questions. Students choose ethics-related courses from the Department of Philosophy, in topics such as medical ethics, internet ethics, and moral theory. Students who complete the minor in ethics will have skills in critical thinking and social engagement and be prepared to take on the major moral challenges of the 21st century.

How to Apply
1. Submit application and fee
Use the online UO application, download the PDF, or complete the Common Application (freshmen only) and pay the nonrefundable $75 application fee.
2. Show English proficiency
Provide official exam results from the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, SAT, or ACT to prove your English proficiency. Applicants from China and other nearby countries are encouraged to interview with InitialView.
3. Send official documents
Send official transcripts from all high schools and universities attended, as well as a bank statement, certificate of deposit, or scholarship letter equal to the cost of one academic year.
