About PhD in Human Physiology

The primary goal of the human physiology program is to provide classroom and research experiences that will allow graduate students to grow into professionals with the knowledge and experience to be great researchers.

Providing students with an in-depth understanding of human physiology and advanced research skills is the hallmark of the College of Arts and Sciences PhD program. The department also provides students the opportunity to grow as university-level educators.

Study towards a PhD follows an individualized program with a strong emphasis on research.

The department encourages all applicants to this program, either with or without a MS degree however, they can no longer admit students who are seeking a terminal MS degree based on coursework or research.
