About Bachelor of Political Science

The Department of Political Science and International Relations is committed to the liberal arts tradition of intellectual curiosity, academic rigor and an interdisciplinary and diverse curriculum. Students will graduate with an understanding of the theories, practices and institutions of politics and an appreciation of how to create a more just and humane world. Offering a range of courses that address every corner of the globe and that prepare students to be astute and keen political observers and actors, we provide opportunities for students to improve their critical thinking skills and the ability to read, write and speak clearly, skills that are crucial for students to practice democratic citizenship. Entry Requirements

The Franciscan School of Theology is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. In addition to the application elements already mentioned, international applicants must: Demonstrate their ability to speak, read, and write English by a TOEFL score. FST’s TOEFL number is 5736. (Exception may be made for students who earned their earlier degree at an English-speaking institution.) Supply official English translations of transcripts written in a language other than English. Submit a financial declaration attesting to the availability of funds ($US) sufficient to cover personal and academic expenses for the duration of their study.
