About Master of Leadership Studies

PhD Leadership Studies A doctorate in leadership. A lifetime of impact. The PhD in Leadership Studies program at SOLES provides students with an immersive and innovative experience, allowing them to emerge as empowered leaders. Because of its multidisciplinary nature, a leadership degree instills graduates with the listening, introspection and critical thinking skills required in a wide range of fields. Candidates in the PhD in Leadership Studies program will choose from one of five specialties: Higher Education Leadership, Nonprofit and Philanthropic Leadership, Coaching and Organizational Consulting, and Educational Leadership for Innovation and Social Justiceor you can choose an individualized specialization. All graduate students at SOLES will complete a short-term faculty-led international experience. We believe students who study abroad gain unique insight and perspectives necessary to thrive as global citizens committed to positive change. You'll emerge empowered as a leader and/or researcher, scholar, educator and practitioner. You'll be poised to make significant contributions to the field of Leadership Studies while addressing some of our communities' most pressing needs. Requirements and Admission Criteria for Master of Leadership Studies at University of San Diego

Entry Requirements

The Franciscan School of Theology is authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students. In addition to the application elements already mentioned, international applicants must: Demonstrate their ability to speak, read, and write English by a TOEFL score. FST’s TOEFL number is 5736. (Exception may be made for students who earned their earlier degree at an English-speaking institution.) Supply official English translations of transcripts written in a language other than English. Submit a financial declaration attesting to the availability of funds ($US) sufficient to cover personal and academic expenses for the duration of their study.
